We made it to Guangzhou without any major mishaps!  Thank you so much for praying.  I'm still not 100% but I think I'm getting there.

We have more pictures to download but have to charge camera battery first.

Brad is going to write some stuff later as well.  Unfortunately, due to my issues, he's seen a lot more of China than I have.

We were blessed to sit in front of a family yesterday, that were very nice, one of them could speak English and they were very, very happy for us that we were adopting.  They were very encouraging.  There are other families that arrived last night that will be a part of our group here in Guangzhou.  Yi yi's the oldest, the rest are "babies" (3 and under).  She loves the babies and they seem to really take to her as well.

I did not accompany her and Brad to her  physical this morning as I'm still running a temperature and the antibiotics I'm now on are making me dizzy.  I'm hoping the dizziness wears off in time and I'll be thrilled when all the little side effects of this whole illness are gone so I can do something besides stay in the room.

She is testing us some, is learning to use "no" a lot but we're still not seeing too much out of her that I wouldn't expect to see in any pre-teen/teen.  (she'll be 13 in March).  She says Guangzhou is beautiful.  We have a room that is a river view and will be able to see the light shows in the evening.  The city is beautiful with all the flowers.  It looks as if they did a lot  of work for the Asian Games.  We've even got sunshine today.

Thank you all, again, for your continued prayers!

Lisa
